Discover the step-by-step process of reviewing and approving or rejecting a transaction within the established
workflow, ensuring accurate and secure processing using either Jack Portal or App.

When a Drafter creates a transaction (local transfer, international transfer, payroll, bill payment or reimbursement) or requests a card, the status of that transaction changes to Pending Approval. In this state, the assigned Approver must review the transaction and decide whether it should be approved or rejected. Essentially, the Approver can conduct the review process via the Jack Portal or Jack app.

Jack offers a convenient Task Page for users who need to review and approve a large number of transactions. This feature allows you to efficiently process multiple transactions simultaneously.
Go to the Task Page. You can see whether you have any pending tasks to be approved from the counter number.
On the Require Approval section, you can review and approve a transaction by selecting the transactions you wished to approve. A transaction details will pop up on your window and you can proceed with the approval process from there. If you want to approve multiple transactions at once, you can select the checkboxes on the left side of the transaction, or simply click on the topmost checkbox to select all of the transactions.
Click the Approve button. Make sure the number of transactions and the total amount is correct.
A popup will appear on the right side of the screen, you can review the transactions you have selected and click Approve to proceed.
You will be prompted to insert your pin, and click Confirm to finish the approval process.
Releasing a Transaction
Releasers are a special type of Approver who possess the authority to release funds for approved transactions, enabling the completion of the financial transaction. In other words, they are the last Approver of a transaction. To release a transaction, you can follow the general steps of approving a transaction with some extra steps.
One thing to keep in mind is that you will only be able to use the Company Balance payment method for the International Transfer module if you choose to approve multiple transactions from the task page.
Go to the Task Page. You can see whether you have any pending tasks to be released from the counter number.
On the Release Payment section, you can review and approve a transaction by selecting the transactions you wished to release. A transaction details will pop up on your window and you can proceed with the release payment process from there.
If you want to release multiple transactions at once, you can select the checkboxes on the left side of the transaction, or simply click on the topmost checkbox to select all of the transactions.
Click the Approve & Pay button. Make sure the number of transactions and the total amount is correct.
A popup will appear on the right side of the screen. Now, you can either make immediate payments for your transactions ("Pay Now") or schedule each transaction according to your company's needs. You can choose to schedule on a specific date/time or follow the payment cycle. For products with default payment cycles, by default Jack sets it as the schedule date. However, you still have the flexibility to modify the schedule date for each transaction. At the bottom of the pop-up, you will find a summary showing the number of scheduled and immediate transactions that will be processed. After all transactions have been scheduled, click the Continue button.
For final confirmation, you can review a summary of all scheduled transactions, as well as those set to be paid immediately upon your approval. Expand the details (if needed) by clicking the down button. If it’s already correct, click the Approve & Pay button. Please be aware that your company balance must have sufficient funds to cover immediate / “Pay Now” transactions (inside the green box). If you have insufficient company balance, you can click the + Top up button and follow the instructions here with the release payment process.
Insert your PIN and click the Confirm button. Your release payment is finished, and your company balance will be deducted accordingly.
You can review scheduled or immediate transactions on various pages:
Transaction page (filter Status = In Progress or Scheduled).
Alerts & Attention page: In the "Scheduled Payment" section.
Dashboard page: Review scheduled payments up to 3 days onward in the “Scheduled Payments” section. If you want to see all scheduled transactions, click the See All Schedules button. This is accessible to all roles, exempt Employees.
For all scheduled transactions, you can decide to make an immediate payment, reschedule it (to a specific date/time or payment cycle), or cancel it outright. For detailed guidance, refer to this article.
Rejecting a Transaction
When you review the transaction requests, as an Approver or Releaser, you can approve or reject the transaction. How-to approve and release a transaction has been explained above. Now, we will guide you how-to reject a transaction in Jack Portal, with a few simple steps:
Go to the Task page. You can see whether you have any pending tasks to be reviewed from the counter number.
Select the transaction you wish to reject. It can be in the Require Approval or Release Payment section. Please note that you can not reject multiple transactions at once.
A transaction details will pop up in your window. After reviewing the request, if you wish to reject, click the Reject button.
Fill the Reason of Rejection, and click Reject Request. The Drafter will be able to see why you reject this transaction.
Insert your PIN, and we will proceed with your rejection.

To find all transactions that you need to approve, in the Home menu, select the Task tab, and then click the See all button.
Select the Require Approval option.

You can review and release a transaction by selecting the transaction you wish to release. A transaction details will pop up on your window and you can proceed with the release payment process from there.
If you want to approve multiple transactions at once, you can select the checkboxes on the left side of the transaction, or simply click on the topmost checkbox to select all of the transactions.The transaction details window will pop up and you can review the transaction here. Make sure the total payment and the transaction details are correct before you proceed.
If your company balance is sufficient, you will be able to click on the Approve & Pay option. If the balance is insufficient, you can click on the + Top up button and follow the provided instructions before proceeding with the payment release (learn how-to Top up here).
If you are satisfied with the transactions, click Approve & Pay.Insert your PIN, and the release payment process is finished.
Rejecting a Transaction
When you review the transaction requests, as an Approver or Releaser, you can approve or reject the transaction. How-to approve and release a transaction has been explained above. Now, we will guide you how-to reject a transaction in Jack App, in a few simple steps:
In the Home menu, select the Task tab, and click the See All button.
You can select either the Require Approval or Release Payment depending on the transaction you wish to reject.
Click on the transaction you wish to reject. Please note that you can not reject multiple transactions at once.
Click the Reject button.
Fill the Why do you reject this request form, and click Reject. The Drafter will be able to see why you reject this transaction.
Once you enter your PIN, the process of rejecting your transaction is complete..
