Modified on Mon, 21 Aug 2023 at 01:12 AM

The Jack platform allows users to save transaction drafts before submitting them for approval. Drafted transactions can be accessed through the Drafts page or by searching and filtering on the Transactions page. Users can continue editing a draft by selecting it and clicking the Continue Editing button.

In Jack platform, you can save your transaction before submitting it for approval process. To do that, you can simply click the Move to Draft button, whenever you are creating a transaction. You can see the example icon in the image below.

There are currently four modules where you can save a transaction draft: Local Transfer, Reimbursement, Bill Payment, and Payroll.

There are two ways to access and continue your drafted transactions. The first one is by clicking on the + Create button on the top-right side of the screen, and clicking the Draft menu. By doing this, you will be directed to the Drafts page, and you can select which module the draft is in.

The second one is by navigating through the Transactions page, and finding the transaction there. You can utilize search and filter to easily find the particular transaction. To do that, you can select Draft in the Status filter. For more details, visit How to see my transactions and How to use search filter in transactions page.

After you find which draft you want to continue working on, you can simply click the drafted transaction, and a popup modal will appear on the right side of your screen. You can click on the Continue Editing button, after you are sure that this is the right draft.

If you do not need the draft any longer, you can delete your transaction draftThere are two (2) ways to do that:

  1. Using the Delete button inside a Transaction details page.

  2. Inside the Draft page, use a trash bin icon at the end of each row of your drafted transactions or you can tick mark boxes for several drafts you want to delete and click Delete Transaction at the bottom of the page.
