The Jack platform's update tracker allows users to monitor the progress and status of their transactions. It provides information such as creation date, approval steps, approvers, release date, rejection details, and failure information. Users can view the update tracker by opening a transaction's popup modal. Understanding the update tracker helps users stay informed about the status and history of their transactions.

Table of Contents

To see the update tracker, you can open a transaction you wish to see (find more here about how to see your transaction). The transaction popup modal will appear, and you will see the update tracker on that modal.

In the update tracker, you can find informations about:

  • Creation/Request Date: The date when the transaction was initially created or requested.

  • Approval Steps: All the necessary steps required for the transaction to be processed, ensuring transparency in the approval workflow.

  • Approvers: Details of individuals who have approved the transaction, fostering accountability and clarity.

  • Release Date: The moment when the transaction transitions to the "In Progress" state, indicating that processing has commenced.

  • Rejection or Cancellation: If a transaction is rejected or cancelled, the update tracker furnishes pertinent details, including the identity of the rejector, the date and time of rejection, and a concise explanation for the decision.

  • Failure: In case of a failed transaction, the update tracker logs the date and time of failure, along with any available reasons for the transaction's inability to proceed.
